Former USF athletic adviser claims racial discrimination

Tampa, Florida - A former African-American academic adviser for USF''s athletic department claims racial discrimination as the reason for her dismissal and alleges the university has been covering up NCAA violations.

"Unfairly," is how 52-year-old Myrtice Landers feels she''s been treated by USF''s athletic department after being fired two weeks ago for violating a NCAA rule.

Landers worked as the academic adviser for men and women''s basketball and tennis.
